Wild Willow Training Center
Wild Willow Farm & Education Center is a five-acre working farm located less than three miles from the Pacific Ocean and two-thirds mile north of the Mexican Border. Using cutting-edge practices, taught year-round in coastal Southern California's unique climate, Wild Willow teaches regenerative farming methods that are applicable to all forms of agriculture, urban and rural, whether you're an entrepreneur, a home grower, or simply have agricultural curiosity. Garden 31
Garden 31 is dedicated to empowering disadvantaged community members with the skills needed to create a sustainable food system and community health. They offer a wide variety of services, including a regenerative agriculture apprenticeship program, corrections-workforce job creation, and school/community garden education. Learn more.
Seeds at City College
The Sustainable Urban Agriculture program offers two associate degrees (an Associate of Science Degree for Transfer in Agriculture Plant Sciences and an Associate of Science Degree in Sustainable Urban Agriculture) and three certificates – in Urban Farming Professional, Urban Gardening, and Urban Gardening for the Culinary Arts. The program also includes a Viticulture Technician Apprenticeship that addresses an expanding San Diego County wine producing industry. Learn more.
